Sony Ericsson W800i Review
the Sony Ericsson W800i Mobile is the same as the K750i, except that the W800i is customised for music. There's a one-touch music button for controlling the MP3 player, plus extra bundled software for ripping audio tracks from CDs. The W800i also comes with a larger memory stick for storing all those songs - 512 Mbytes may not sound a lot when compared with an iPod (or even an iPod Mini), but it's pretty large for a phone, and is enough for around 150 audio tracks. The memory stick is expandable to 1 Gbyte.the Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone's top draw, we'll get the most basic offerings out of the way first. You get a small phone book that holds 500 names, with room in each entry for five phone numbers, an e-mail address, a Web address, a street address, business title and company, birthday, and notes (the SIM card holds an additional 250 contacts). You can organize callers into groups and pair them with a picture for caller ID.
Sony Ericsson W800 has been designed for customers, who long for style as well as for those who adore music, quality and functionality. You may accuse us of offering you another much too positive review. But please, tell us what we are supposed to do since the famous Swedish-Japanese manufacturer sends us one imposing phone after another.
the W800 does have the obvious Walkman branding and and vastly improved music application, it is otherwise almost identical to the Sony Ericsson K750 that we reviewed in June. The W800 uses a different mechanism to activate the camera and uncover its lens, and it also changes the K750's shortcuts button into a dedicated Walkman app button, but that's about all of the differences that I found to be worth mentioning.
the features of Sony Ericsson W800:
Messaging: SMS, EMS, MMS, Email, Instant Messaging
Browser: WAP 2.0/xHTML
Radio: Stereo FM radio with RDS
Games: Yes + downloadable
Colors: Smooth White
GPS: No
Java: Yes

Sony Ericsson W950i
The Sony Ericsson W950i Mobile is a very slim & highly attractive 3G Walkman mobile phone which comes in an eye catching mystic purple coloured casing. The W950i is extremely thin considering all that is inside the 106 x 54 x 15 mm casing. The phone weighs a total of 112 grams which makes the W950i feel solid & provides a high quality feel to the handset. The phone package comes with a complete Walkman music kit which includes a stereo headset, music management software & a USB cable. The W950i is from the same family as the Sony Ericsson W800i & the Sony Ericsson W810i but all of the phones have their own unique style & independent features. It's not the first candy bar Walkman phone from Sony Ericsson, yet the W950i is nothing like typical bar-type handsets we have seen the company's series of music phones. For a start, it looks and feels more like a smart phone, sharing an almost identical design as the M600i and offering both button and touchscreen inputs.
The W950’s design will turn the heads of the most avid style aficionados. Its thin, sleek and compact form is finished in Mystic Purple, fingerprint-proof matt with orange accents.
This phone has been designed as a music player & business phone an interesting concept and the W950i meets the needs of its target market well. What the designers at Sony Ericsson have realised is that even the best camera phone on the market today (the Sony Ericsson K800i or Nokia N93) is still not a patch on a dedicated digital camera, so why include one? By scrapping the camera they have produced a feature-packed phone that doubles as a full-spec music player and really can replace your iPod, without compromise.

Sony Ericsson P990i review
The Sony Ericsson P990i Mobile is the latest smart phone to come from the Japanese-Swedish collaboration, and it's been a long time coming. There are a number of die-hard users of the P910a, its American predecessor, and ever since the P990i was announced late last year, many people have waited patiently for its release. As with the P910a, the P990i is a serious smart phone that will please tech-minded consumers and professionals. One of the major additions to the P990i is its inclusion of Wi-Fi support, a feature that even some of the more popular smart phones don't have. This cool little smart phone will cost you, though; because it doesn't have the backing of a U.S. carrier, you'll have to purchase it unlocked at a hefty price.the Sony Ericsson P990i has strong multimedia capabilities, with big improvements in both functions and ease of use over its predecessors. Memory card prices, even for Sony's own formats, are much lower than when the P800/P900 were on sale and there are no stupidly low card limits, and consequently using the phone as a multimedia viewer and player is much more practical.
The design of the P990i incorporates a conventional numeric keypad which can be flipped open or removed to reveal the full QWERTY alphanumeric keypad beneath. In addition to key-based data entry, the p990i has a touch-sensitive screen with a stylus to operate an onscreen virtual keyboard. Most users seem to prefer this to the real keyboard. The phone also has support for handwriting recognition.
the P990i body is all silver and it's made mainly of plastic, with a metal frame surrounding the screen. It's well built and feels robust, maybe except for the plastic battery cover which feels slightly loose and tends to squeak.

Sony Ericsson S500i review
The Sony Ericsson S500i Mobile is a stunningly beautiful slide phone, available in green, yellow, copper & purple. It features beautiful wallpaper artwork and specially-designed themes that change with the time of day and the season. Sensational lighting effects accompany incoming calls - it's a real treat! Combine this with a 2 megapixel camera and video camera, a music player, an optional memory card for storing up to 250 music tracks and you have an apparent winner.
The S500 is available in two color versions: stylish gold and black-green, which has very futuristic design. Our unit is in the second one, and although the label below the display says SE123 , it is a S500. It is mid-level “your average phone” and is not part of either the Cybershot or the Walkman family, but still packs multimedia features.
The S500i is a slide opening fashion phone which comes in two attractive colour options & the phone has subtle lighting effects which make the handset stand out. An integrated 2 megapixel digital camera feature with videoing function & a built in music player provide entertainment for the user.
the S500i comes with three themes available to the user: Clarity, Day and Night and Everchanging. True to its name, the Everchanging theme is the one that makes this Sony Ericsson stand out from its competition with a myriad of animated wallpapers and illuminated color menus that change with the time and seasons.

Sony Ericsson P1i Review
The Sony Ericsson P1i Mobile is a highly capable 3G Smartphone designed by Sony Ericsson with the user in mind. It comes with easy to access & easy to use business, communication, media & imaging features. The Sony Ericsson P1i supports WLAN & Bluetooth technologies & comes with 160MB of memory plus a memory card facility.
Sony Ericsson P1i comes as a replacement of two earlier models, combining their lines in one. The form-factor reminds us of the M600 with the relatively slim profile and hybrid QWERTY keyboard, but the design is more oriented to the business customers, like the P990. The M600 gets its upgrade with WiFi and camera and the P990 gets slimmer and sexier upgrade. The model name is rather strange solution but also logical one. Earlier P-series smartphones were with model numbers P800-P900-P910-P990 and the logical next model should be P1000 (or higher) but it seems that Sony Ericsson don’t want that long name and removed the zeros, naming the new phone P1i.
The P1i is Sony Ericsson’s new flagship smartphone product. Running the touchscreen variant of UIQ 3.0 on Symbian OS 9.1, with WCDMA, GSM and Wi-Fi connectivity, a QWERTY keyboard or handwriting recognition for text input and a 3.2 megapixel camera, it is well specified and a powerful smartphone.
the Sony Ericsson P1i has a much more solid feel to it. This is not just because of the material used but also due to its heavier weight. The reduced size and weight compared with the P990i will surely appeal to some who stayed away from that model because of the form factor.
The P1i is a really great looking device. The silver frame looks like brushed metal on the front side, there is a chromium-plated strip (covering the loudspeaker) on the back making the phone look more professional and elegant, the camera is surrounded by a silver cicrle with two Flash LEDs and the black plastic on the back side (including the battery cover) is rubber-like and very soft, providing better grip. Overall, the device is really well-built using high quality materials and it feels considerably better and "more expensive" than the plasticy M600 or W950. You won't be ashamed to show the P1 in good company and I'd even say that it's a good choice for those who like to show off. There are also no creaking sounds or other undesired effects (unless you tend to squeeze your phones like a citron)
the Sony Ericsson P1i Price: 350$ approx

Sony Ericsson W760i Mobile Phone Review
The Sony Ericsson W760i Mobile Phone, one of the Walkman branded handset.the manufacturer's attempt to create a high-end feature phone that focuses on fun. Multimedia is the star of the device, as expected from a Walkman handset, but the W760i tries to be a lot more adding games, internet, and location based services to its repertoire of music, video, and photos.
Sony Ericsson W760i made a name for being the first Sony Ericson phone to offer an integrated GPS receiver. With a large QVGA display, stereo speakers, Media Center and the 3 megapixel camera on top, the W760 packs a nice punch. It's an exciting slider that may look no-thrills on the outside, but has all the prospects of becoming a bestseller.
the Sony Ericsson W760i is a solid 3G phone all around. The great music player hasn't gotten any worse with age, though we'd like it to get a little better. The best part is how much the W760 benefits from U.S. 3G access. Calls sounded great on AT&T's HSDPA network, and Web browsing speeds were very good. Even better was the tethered modem support, a nice surprise for a phone that seems to be all about music.
The Sony Ericsson W760i features a classic Sony Ericsson slider design that's sure to catch a few eyes on the street. The curved edges and clean lines make for a very attractive phone with some unique style touches. In particular, we liked the textured material on the bottom end of the phone and the shiny metal skin below the camera lens. Three color versions are available: fancy black, rocky silver and intense red. The black model, which we reviewed, features a bright yellow stripe across the battery cover.

Sony Ericsson K750 review
Sony Ericsson K750 Mobile is one of the most important and most anxiously expected mobile phones of this year has finally hit the market. We are being offered a top-class device, which outruns most of the competition.
The Sony Ericsson K750i gives fantastic power imaging & brilliant picture quality. The K750i is a very thin & light mobile phone with a really great built in 2 mega pixel digital camera complete with fitted lens cover. Sony Ericsson are hitting the top end of the market with the K750i & it is available in two colours which are oxidized black or blasted silver.
it's a fully featured phone with the best of everything video camera, digital music player, FM radio, Bluetooth, memory stick, triband - you name it, it's got it! Its screen is as good as anything going - much better than the Nokia 6230i, the same resolution as the Samsung D500, but not quite as high as the Sony Ericsson S700i.
Sony Ericsson's new K750i is a triple threat: it's a multimedia powerhouse, it takes amazing pictures, and it boasts top-notch wireless connectivity. The compact candy bar-style cell phone not only has an impressive MP3 and video player as well as an FM radio, it also packs in a 2-megapixel camera (only the second we've seen in the United States), fully enabled Bluetooth, an infrared port, a 64MB Memory Stick Duo card, slick animated menus, and excellent personalization options.
