Sony Ericsson W760i Mobile Phone Review

The Sony Ericsson W760i Mobile Phone, one of the Walkman branded handset.the manufacturer's attempt to create a high-end feature phone that focuses on fun. Multimedia is the star of the device, as expected from a Walkman handset, but the W760i tries to be a lot more adding games, internet, and location based services to its repertoire of music, video, and photos.

Sony Ericsson W760i made a name for being the first Sony Ericson phone to offer an integrated GPS receiver. With a large QVGA display, stereo speakers, Media Center and the 3 megapixel camera on top, the W760 packs a nice punch. It's an exciting slider that may look no-thrills on the outside, but has all the prospects of becoming a bestseller.

the Sony Ericsson W760i is a solid 3G phone all around. The great music player hasn't gotten any worse with age, though we'd like it to get a little better. The best part is how much the W760 benefits from U.S. 3G access. Calls sounded great on AT&T's HSDPA network, and Web browsing speeds were very good. Even better was the tethered modem support, a nice surprise for a phone that seems to be all about music.

The Sony Ericsson W760i features a classic Sony Ericsson slider design that's sure to catch a few eyes on the street. The curved edges and clean lines make for a very attractive phone with some unique style touches. In particular, we liked the textured material on the bottom end of the phone and the shiny metal skin below the camera lens. Three color versions are available: fancy black, rocky silver and intense red. The black model, which we reviewed, features a bright yellow stripe across the battery cover.
The Sony Ericsson W760i Mobile Phone price: 310$ Approx
