Alcatel signed an agreement With Virgin Media for the supply of modem

It has become Alcatel is the sole supplier of modems for services and media mobile broadband.

Has been signed with Alcatel and Virgin Media agreement stipulates that Alcatel is the sole supplier of modems and communication services, mobile broadband until the summer of 2011.

And the first modems which will be issued by Alcatel, is a device X080 and X220. The most important features of X080 by the property that there is HSPA to 3,6 MB per second, and also contains the capacity Micro SD up to 16GB, and install the plug and play automatic and easy.

The x220 was distinct from the features of the X080 that HSPA by up to about 7,2 Mbps, and also contains the same features of the X080.

Patterson, William Director of Alcatel in the UK and Ireland said: Alcatel mobile phones have a distinguished history with Virgin Media, when fired Alcatel was the first mobile phones, and we are able to build and develop an exclusive partnership with the media, and William said that the modems X080, X220. which will soon be issued by Alcatel will be the first of a series of new products coming to Virgin Media customers.

the Sony Ericsson W800i Mobile is the same as the K750i, except that the W800i is customised for music. There's a one-touch music button for controlling the MP3 player, plus extra bundled software for ripping audio tracks from CDs. The W800i also comes with a larger memory stick for storing all those songs - 512 Mbytes may not sound a lot when compared with an iPod (or even an iPod Mini), but it's pretty large for a phone, and is enough for around 150 audio tracks. The memory stick is expandable to 1 Gbyte.

the Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone's top draw, we'll get the most basic offerings out of the way first. You get a small phone book that holds 500 names, with room in each entry for five phone numbers, an e-mail address, a Web address, a street address, business title and company, birthday, and notes (the SIM card holds an additional 250 contacts). You can organize callers into groups and pair them with a picture for caller ID.

Sony Ericsson W800 has been designed for customers, who long for style as well as for those who adore music, quality and functionality. You may accuse us of offering you another much too positive review. But please, tell us what we are supposed to do since the famous Swedish-Japanese manufacturer sends us one imposing phone after another.

the W800 does have the obvious Walkman branding and and vastly improved music application, it is otherwise almost identical to the Sony Ericsson K750 that we reviewed in June. The W800 uses a different mechanism to activate the camera and uncover its lens, and it also changes the K750's shortcuts button into a dedicated Walkman app button, but that's about all of the differences that I found to be worth mentioning.

The Sony Ericsson W950i Mobile is a very slim & highly attractive 3G Walkman mobile phone which comes in an eye catching mystic purple coloured casing. The W950i is extremely thin considering all that is inside the 106 x 54 x 15 mm casing. The phone weighs a total of 112 grams which makes the W950i feel solid & provides a high quality feel to the handset. The phone package comes with a complete Walkman music kit which includes a stereo headset, music management software & a USB cable. The W950i is from the same family as the Sony Ericsson W800i & the Sony Ericsson W810i but all of the phones have their own unique style & independent features.

It's not the first candy bar Walkman phone from Sony Ericsson, yet the W950i is nothing like typical bar-type handsets we have seen the company's series of music phones. For a start, it looks and feels more like a smart phone, sharing an almost identical design as the M600i and offering both button and touchscreen inputs.

The W950’s design will turn the heads of the most avid style aficionados. Its thin, sleek and compact form is finished in Mystic Purple, fingerprint-proof matt with orange accents.

This phone has been designed as a music player & business phone an interesting concept and the W950i meets the needs of its target market well. What the designers at Sony Ericsson have realised is that even the best camera phone on the market today (the Sony Ericsson K800i or Nokia N93) is still not a patch on a dedicated digital camera, so why include one? By scrapping the camera they have produced a feature-packed phone that doubles as a full-spec music player and really can replace your iPod, without compromise.

Sony Ericsson P990i review

The Sony Ericsson P990i Mobile is the latest smart phone to come from the Japanese-Swedish collaboration, and it's been a long time coming. There are a number of die-hard users of the P910a, its American predecessor, and ever since the P990i was announced late last year, many people have waited patiently for its release. As with the P910a, the P990i is a serious smart phone that will please tech-minded consumers and professionals. One of the major additions to the P990i is its inclusion of Wi-Fi support, a feature that even some of the more popular smart phones don't have. This cool little smart phone will cost you, though; because it doesn't have the backing of a U.S. carrier, you'll have to purchase it unlocked at a hefty price.

the Sony Ericsson P990i has strong multimedia capabilities, with big improvements in both functions and ease of use over its predecessors. Memory card prices, even for Sony's own formats, are much lower than when the P800/P900 were on sale and there are no stupidly low card limits, and consequently using the phone as a multimedia viewer and player is much more practical.

The design of the P990i incorporates a conventional numeric keypad which can be flipped open or removed to reveal the full QWERTY alphanumeric keypad beneath. In addition to key-based data entry, the p990i has a touch-sensitive screen with a stylus to operate an onscreen virtual keyboard. Most users seem to prefer this to the real keyboard. The phone also has support for handwriting recognition.

the P990i body is all silver and it's made mainly of plastic, with a metal frame surrounding the screen. It's well built and feels robust, maybe except for the plastic battery cover which feels slightly loose and tends to squeak.

The Sony Ericsson S500i Mobile is a stunningly beautiful slide phone, available in green, yellow, copper & purple. It features beautiful wallpaper artwork and specially-designed themes that change with the time of day and the season. Sensational lighting effects accompany incoming calls - it's a real treat! Combine this with a 2 megapixel camera and video camera, a music player, an optional memory card for storing up to 250 music tracks and you have an apparent winner.

The S500 is available in two color versions: stylish gold and black-green, which has very futuristic design. Our unit is in the second one, and although the label below the display says SE123 , it is a S500. It is mid-level “your average phone” and is not part of either the Cybershot or the Walkman family, but still packs multimedia features.

The S500i is a slide opening fashion phone which comes in two attractive colour options & the phone has subtle lighting effects which make the handset stand out. An integrated 2 megapixel digital camera feature with videoing function & a built in music player provide entertainment for the user.

the S500i comes with three themes available to the user: Clarity, Day and Night and Everchanging. True to its name, the Everchanging theme is the one that makes this Sony Ericsson stand out from its competition with a myriad of animated wallpapers and illuminated color menus that change with the time and seasons.
